Flea Treatment and complete removal company located in Maidstone Kent.
Fleas can be picked up with contact with other pets or from the grass during the summer where hedgehog’s foxes or other pets have been. It’s also very common for people to inherit them from previous occupants of the property they have just moved into.
The flea cycle starts with an adult female flea laying eggs in the bedding, furnishings but usually the carpets of the property at a rate of between 40-50 per day.
Theses will hatch into larvae around 7-21 days later feeding on dead skin etc in the carpet or bedding of the pet.
After a period 7-21 days dependant on heat and food supply the larvae go into pupae and then hatch out as a flea this can take between 7-200 + days.
Why must they be controlled?
The fleas must be controlled as any visitors to your property could be bitten and carry them back to their property this pest can be embarrassing and the fleas will spread to all rooms of the property.
The bites can become infected and some people have an allergic reaction to flea bites they can also spread to all you pets if untreated. Fleas will not go away and will certainly infest a home unless treated we would always recommend a professional pest control operative to attend and treat products purchased from the internet or DIY store may not rid you of this pest it could work out a lot more expensive to try and tackle this pest alone they can be persistent.
